It doesn’t take long to understand where Ricco is coming from, because he will tell you in great detail, that he is a proud product of Sacramento California that grew up in the Bay Area streets, then show you the love his mother poured into him to keep him safe from those streets.

The Game that came from getting his start in Northern California, was Ricco’s to have, but it was success on basketball courts  that would mold his capacity and interest for the spotlight  to follow. A short tour of his mindful  inventive approach to laughter is one that asks questions, solves problems, and makes you lose a shoe all at the same time.

Who is his joke writer? Ricco’s experiences are the only authors in the room and authenticity falls from his words as clearly as listening to your own story, and it just might be.

Ricco’s father who is also the subject of many stories in his life, is given to crowds in bits and hilariously spun pieces, but those tales are strictly for his delighted audience.
